What is SAP AI Agent Hub?
SAP AI Agent Hub is SAP's vendor-agnostic command centre for AI agents: it helps you discover, inventory, govern and evaluate the agents, LLMs and MCP servers running across your landscape, whoever built them. It launched inside SAP LeanIX in November 2025, and at SAP Sapphire in May 2026 SAP opened it more widely through Joule Studio.
The one-line version: it answers "which AI do we have, who owns it, and is it safe?" It does not run or orchestrate agents - SAP says so explicitly. Agents keep running wherever they were built.

How it finds your agents
At TechEd 2025 SAP named discovery connectors for Microsoft (Azure AI Foundry and Copilot), Google(Agent Engine) and SAP's own preconfigured Joule agents, plus an AI Agent API for registering anything else - including the custom agents you build yourself.
How it relates to LeanIX, Joule and MCP
- SAP LeanIX is its origin: agents are modelled as applications in the enterprise architecture, so the AI landscape sits in the same map as everything else. See SAP LeanIX and AI agents.
- Joule Studio is where Joule agents are built; since Sapphire 2026 it also gives access to AI Agent Hub without switching tools.
- The MCP Gateway governs access to tools at runtime; AI Agent Hub governs the inventory. SAP has not described a direct integration between the two. See SAP MCP Gateway.
Where Boidra fits
Boidra does not change AI Agent Hub - it stays exactly as SAP ships it. The two answer different questions. AI Agent Hub is the register: what AI exists and is it approved?
